10 Months old

My sweet little Presley Lynn! You are 10 months old already. You are growing so fast! It has been difficult to get a picture of you in the month onsie this time. I have tried a couple of times and finally got a good one last night. I gave up on taking it in the recliner like all the others. You refused to sit still in it. So I let you roam around the living room and you finally ended up in your rocker and I got this picture....
You are so cute trying to make it rock but you don't try for too long and then you're off to explore something else. You can walk about 8 steps on your own now! You still prefer to crawl and are super fast at it. You will follow us all over the house. And it doesn't seem to bother you to crawl into a dark room by yourself. It seems like we spend a lot of time following you around!
Before you were born Daddy said he didn't want toys all around the house and that we would keep everything in your room. Well....that hasn't really happened. You have toys stored in every corner! You play in your room if we sit down in there with you but you mainly just sleep in there. You are still a great sleeper and typically sleep from 8pm-8am. You have been waking up some nights lately but you fuss for just a minute and go back to sleep on your own. I think it's your teeth bothering you. You have had 2 bottom teeth since 7 months but your 2 top teeth worked at coming in for the past month. Finally, they have broken through but they are still red and puffy.
You are growing so much! You are average weight and above average in height. You wear a size 3 diaper, size 3 shoe (not that you wear them much), and 12-18 month clothes. You will still wear a headband and hairbow to church but if you're the least bit tired you do not want it on. Your hair is long enough in the front I have to keep it pulled up.
This picture is one of my favorite from last night. I love how the sunlight was coming in the front door. You were looking up at the mounted hogs we have hanging. You are not scared of them at all and I see you looking at them quiet often! You're a true little country girl!
You still love to clap and you have started to dance every time you hear music. You laugh and smile a lot. You love being outside and you like to "moo" at the cows and pet the dogs. You can say "momma, dada, bye-bye, ball, hi" and your favorite is "uh-oh!". You have started to show a huge preference in me for snuggling at night time and for daddy for play time. It's really obvious you are learning about us too. You continue to be a blessing to us daily and our world revolves around you. We are so thankful to be your parnets and we love you more and more each day!
