21 Weeks - Pink it is!

Yesterday Jared and I went for another ultrasound. Unlike last time where the baby was super active, this time she slept through the entire thing! The tech shook my belly for what seemed like forever and then Jared joined in. Right when I started think I wasn't going to be able to keep myself from peeing all over the table, they finally gave up. She would wake up and move around just enough to let us see her yawn and then turn her head the other way. I think Jared was bored with her....he liked seeing her cat fight the cord last time. I thought it was sweet to see her little yawns and it didn't surprise me at all. Like I said, she wakes up about 8-9pm each night. Her momma knows....they should listen to me!

The ultrasound was all 2-D this time, but it was still super cool. The tech said we definately have a little girl in there and she looks perfect! I'm going to break out the pink paint and start shopping! I could tell she was a lot bigger and she looks exactly like a baby now. She measured 21 weeks and 1 day so she's only a day bigger than her gestational age and weighs 14 oz. Guess I can't really blame her for much of the 8 lbs I've gained. :-)

The Dr said that in three more weeks she will be viable but I don't want to know anything about that. I am good with keeping her in the oven until 40 weeks! Jared is super excited about a little girl and I can only imagine how spoiled he's going to have her. On the way home, he informed me that when she's 13 he's going to build her a rig and let her rock crawl...with him as her spotter. I guess I'm redneck but I actually think that would be super cool!
