I had taken a break from blogging over the holidays, not by choice really but just because it was so busy and then I was sick and then Presley was sick. But I'm back, and it's a priority for me this year. So I'm excited to start off my 2011 blog with this news........

she wouldn't put money on it!
These pictures are from one night this week when I came home and Jared had made tacos for supper. Presley was loving the taco meat and rice! After talking to her for a secound I noticed she was wearing a Spiderman jersey. Where did she get that!? Apparently she had been with Memaw that day and found it and insisted on wearing it. Memaw slipped it on over her clothes and it was a fight to get her to take it off later that night! It must have been Landon or Jaden's.
I can't look at these pictures without laughing about the Spiderman shirt. I love her so much!
And she even helped me with the dishes when we got done eating. She really only cares about stacking and unstacking the spoons. At least she tries!
Also this week Jared worked on building a mantle for our friends Jennifer and Aaron. The boys started it over the weekend and have finished it up over the past few nights. They like putting some corner trim on and I can't wait to see it installed and painted. Jennifer is super crafty and I know she'll make it look great!
And......something I am really pumped about is Jared and I are doing the Dave Ramsey Financial Peace class. We are always talking about being better with money and I mentioned it at work one day and Marla found a class at a local Baptist church. We don't know anyone there but I called and signed us up anyway. It's 13 weeks and a HUGE commitment....we have to be in Whitewright at 8:30am on Sunday mornings!
Last week was the first week and we met so many nice couples! I am so thankful God provided the opportunity for us to do this. We've talked about doing this program before and it never worked out. I am confident that this is exactly what we are supposed to be doing and really enjoyed last week. Lesson one was on SAVINGS! It's something we always plan to do more of but haven't really done at the level we should be. This program is so practical and applicable to our lives at this point. We also stayed for the worship service and really enjoyed it as well. Everyone made us feel super welcome and I can't wait for Sunday to go back again!
